Dr S.Siddharth is a professional Wild Life Photographer. Dr Siddharth took up photography in his first year of college. ZENIT XP was his camera. Since then a long journey of 30 years in photography has made him see differently through the lens. His interests lies in Landscapes, Architecture and Wild Life. He is now a professional Bird-Wild Life Photographer. He has taught photography on many forums. A small collection of his photographs can be seen in the Portfolio Section of this site. ‘It is their world, you are just a visitor in it’. With this credo Dr  S. Siddharth entered the realm of Wildlife Photography to shoot spectacular pictures of birds and animals at various locations across the globe. But his favourite places to snap them are the Tea gardens in Darjeeling, parts of Assam, and the Nilgiris. He also likes lying in wait to capture the fauna in the Munnar hills of Kerala, Valmikinagar Tiger Reserve and the Diara (riverine) areas of the Ganga in Bihar.
“It is a craft of patience. You get wonderful shots when animals and birds are undisturbed and are in their natural surroundings. Love nature and you will get beautiful photographs” says Dr Siddharth. Listen to the sounds and observe the light to get a spectacular photo. There is never a dull moment. A normal location could be a great photographic opportunity, just OBSERVE.
